Close your eyes and listen to Lucas' vocals as they are pure, crisp, and simple, whereas you might even think you are hearing Neil Young. "Babylon Rising" is piano-driven with an energetic Blues/Rock tonality. The original album contained nine tracks, but the addition of a new track, "Stars In The Night," gives the listeners a taste of nice harmonies and moving beats. The ballad-like song, "Days Numbered," displays emotive vocals and laid-back piano interplay. The entire collection of music on this album is straightforward and well-produced.
